This lock is a high-performance hardware accessory specially optimized for glass cabinet applications. With its unique vertical retractable bolt mechanism, stable mechanical performance, and easy installation, it serves as a core component for both commercial display and private storage scenarios.

Core Structure & Working Principle

Bolt Drive Mechanism:It features a precision gear linkage system. When the key is rotated, it activates an internal cam assembly, driving the bolt to extend and retract smoothly in a vertical direction. A 90° clockwise rotation extends the bolt downward by approximately 12mm, which fits precisely into the cabinet's locking hole. A 90° counter-clockwise rotation retracts the bolt upward, ensuring a smooth, jam-free operation.

Bolt Material & Craftsmanship:The bolt is formed from thick cold-rolled steel and undergoes a blackening anti-rust treatment, achieving a hardness of HRC30 or higher. It can withstand lateral impact forces of over 1500N, providing effective resistance against prying and forced damage.

Lock Cylinder Security Design:The lock is equipped with a 6-pin tumbler cylinder, and the keys feature a milled groove tooth design. Each lock has over 10,000 unique tooth combinations, resulting in a mutual opening rate of less than 0.01%, significantly enhancing anti-theft security.

Material & Finish

Lock Body:Cast from high-grade zinc alloy, the lock body offers uniform density without porosity, strong load-bearing capacity, and resistance to wear from frequent use.

Surface Treatment:It undergoes a multi-layer bright chrome plating process with a plating thickness of over 8μm. Passing a salt spray test of more than 48 hours, it delivers excellent rust and corrosion resistance, maintaining a mirror-like shine even in humid environments.

Key Details:The key handle is injection-molded from ABS engineering plastic with an anti-slip texture for a secure grip. The key teeth are made of brass, ensuring durability and resistance to deformation for long-term use.

Installation & Compatibility

Drill-Free Installation:No complex drilling is required on glass or cabinets. It can be fixed using the included stainless steel clamping components and hexagonal screws, with the entire installation taking only 5–10 minutes.

Glass Thickness Compatibility:The standard clamping structure fits 5–8mm thick tempered glass. For 8–12mm glass, thicker gaskets can be used for added flexibility.

Cabinet Compatibility:Suitable for a wide range of glass display cabinets, wine cabinets, filing cabinets, bathroom mirror cabinets, etc. With compact dimensions of 45×35×22mm, the lock is discreet and does not compromise the cabinet's overall aesthetics.

Usage & Maintenance

Locking Operation: Insert the key and rotate it 90° clockwise. A "click" sound indicates the bolt has fully extended and locked into the cabinet. Remove the key to complete locking.

Unlocking Operation: Insert the key and rotate it 90° counter-clockwise. The bolt will retract automatically, allowing the door to open.

Daily Maintenance:

Every 3–6 months, apply a small amount of graphite powder or specialized lock lubricant to the cylinder to prevent jamming.

Clean the surface with a soft cloth to maintain the chrome plating's luster.
